Aura

Aura is the name of the "Associação Unificada de Recuperação e Apoio", it is governmental organization that takes care of kids and teenagers that have cancer. It is like a hospital that treat this guys. Located in Belo Horizonte, the organization exist since 1992, and help lots of necessitated every year.

The association that is formed by some professionals, helps not just the kids or teenagers with cancer but the whole family.

To survive, aura lives with donations, that are done by the society or firms.

Galvao Bird Foundation

In Brazil, there is a bird, called as Galvao that is almost extinct. The Galvao Bird Foundation, located in Mato Grosso, that takes cares of the rest of the birds, today they are 8, is a foundation nongovernmental who lives with donations.

One of the principal way for them to get money, is in Twitter, a web site, where you can post small things, and when you say an specific hash tag, you are giving them 0,10 cents.

With this money, they keep the foundation, where they treat the birds, five them food, and all the care they need, with some specific veterinary, that are volunteers.

Now a days they are trying to make a reproduce the bird, and they are thinking that probably already in this year they will be able to have a new Galvao bird there, and with it, go on, reproducing others, until the day that they will be able to put some of them back in the nature.

Fantastic site that have a lot of information about everything, everyone can write in this site, but is a very nice site.

2. Dicionário (Portugues)

It's a amazing dictionary that gives you all of options to help you to find the one that better fits your necessity.

3. English Dictionary

A english dictionary made by Macmillan, can help you a lot when you don't know the meaning of something in english.

4. History

A site that help you with history, bring a lot of information about all the periods, is very useful when you need to study,

5. Geography

A site where you can find a lot of topics of geography, like politic geography and social one.

6. Physic

A site from Moderna Plus that brings a lot of helpful informations about exercises and another things like additional information.

7. Biology

This site brings a lot of information about all topics of biology, is a great site for the ones that want to do a project.

8. Spanish

It's a great dictionary that has informations about all the words in spanish, very useful for those people that want to learn new words.

9. Translation Dictionary

A great site for the ones that want to have the meaning of some word in any language.

10. Yahoo! Answers

A forum where people can ask about anything and other people are able to answer or solve a question, is very, very useful.

Lost Has Finaly End

After 6 seasons, the American series Lost has end this week. It was the most successful series ever.
The story began in 2004, when a plane crashed in a island, and the survived. In the beginning the passengers from the flight oceanic 815, lived in the island, waiting for rescue, but it didn't arrived. While that, lots of mysteries happened, scaring the island people. They discovered that other people were already living there, and they had some problems. They tried to scape from there, but it failed, till one day, that 6 of them could go out with a helicopter, letting all the others behind.
The ones who came out from the island, were called as "oceanic 6", but after some time, they realized that the had to go back to the mysterious island. They did it.
They went back, but lots of things had happened while they in the "real world", some people died, and they were having a life there.
The fans of the series were lost, and not understanding what was happening, and with each new episode, new mysteries were coming out.
The directors sad that it has a end, and it was coming, but the series were really confused.
Now, the end has really here, and some of the fans didn't like the end, and it let a lot of mysteries behind not answered.

Who We Are

Well, well, well... We are here again, to talk about us and about our blog! Last time we posted we didn't have time to talk somethings that are important.

First, the blog was created to post our compositions for english class, every week, our teacher, Sérgio, will ask us to talk about some topics, and we'll search this topic in the internet and write an article (post) here.

Second, the owners of this blog are Artur Souza and Henrique Cheib, and we are students of Colegio Santo Antonio in Belo Horizonte.

Finally, everyone is able to subscribe every post, giving opinions and suggentions, we hope we can talk in a clear and objective way.

So, our first oficial post is done...

...and don't be alarmed, the blog name doesn't really make sense!
